Mrs B never suggested Fitz will retire Paul. But will he stay :?:

I read an interview with Tom Briscoe recently in which he said he now sees himself as a winger rather than a centre.

You might be surprised.

I would definately play Hall left and Yeaman right with Briscoe on one wing and Calderwood or a new signing on the other. Think Hall would really benefit and don't think it would matter to Yeaman.

I remember when yeamo did swap sides. It was a Peter Sharp experiment, I think. He didn't do well and was soon swapped back. Whether that was down to the fact that he wasn't next to his mate Raynor and Sharp soon put the chums back together was a discussion much commented on at the time.

Now there's no Raynor, it would make sense to put the better defender on the right. Not sure about Hall and Briscoe together, though. Potentially a tasty attacking threat, but defensively? Or should the wingers swap too - Calders left, Briscoe right?

3.shenton
4.yeamen
5.briscoe
6.horne
7.long

this backline has a mixture of youth and experience and most of all QUALITY. even though calderwood when played has been great for us hes been very injury prone whilst been here and would prefer to see the owen and shenton combo on the right side, leaving the impressive yeamo and brisco combo on the left.

with whiting, turner, lynne, tuffour, hall, williams, nicklas as back up.

If Craig Hall has any balls he wont be here next season, he should move on to get a shot at his best position in the centres, Briscoe played as a centre as a junior but will probabbly be classed as an out and out winger now. I think next season we might go with Whiting as first choice right cenre and possibly sign a winger, who I have no idea.

hall could have took the easy option a few times with bigger deals at other clubs, IMO he showed balls to stay here and fight for his place.

Wether or not you agree with his decision don't question his balls.
