Pretty sure it was a stress fracture in the foot that happened to Gareth Ellis in the warm up in what was due to be his debut in 2013. He didn't play until round fourteen in the May.

you are correct
looks like another 11 game season
possibly 30 games in three seasons has to tell the club something even if he is a local lad.Thats a lot of money to pay a player per game
With Bowden happy to take his salary and not move on looks like we are back to Fash

Really feel for him. Got his self in good shape. Then this. Nothing he could have done to prevent it. Gutted for the lad
