Leeds' defensive line speed was much better than ours for much of the game and our slow PTB made it even worse. Only later in teh game, when they started to tire did we get any field position. Don't think we had one PTB inside their 20 in the 1st half so I'm not sure how anyone can say our forwards dominated.
Yet again we lack leadership & direction on the pitch

Thats how I saw it Jake..
Couldnt understand why Feka wasnt brought on until late(68 minutes) in the game.
Its been refreshing to see more off-loads in our game, but for mine our execution remains the same,as it has been for many seasons.

For me, the problem is (and always was going to be from the moment he was appointed) Radford has no idea how to manage his men.
They have the skill and the know-how. We know that because they have demonstrated that at times this season. We are falling down because of attitude, disgruntlement and personal dissatisfaction, imo. That is purely down to Radford's handling of them on a personal level.
Correct.

Why would rotating with Rankin dent Shaul's confidence? Didn't seem to bother Kevin Harkin and Tony Dean.
He's a grown man, I'm sure he's happy to do what's best for the team. We are lucky to have two very good fullbacks.
We had an A team system that played at a very high level so players got a game every week, not playing for two weeks or alternating weeks has much more of an effect now than it did back then especially if you're on the naughty step as Shaul is. Dean & Harkin, Dean especially, were seasoned 'professionals', Dean had plied his trade at Hunslet/lower divisions, Shaul is not a 'grown man', he's a young man with plenty to learn about life.

Dab, only one more for a full line. Anything you disagree with it's either 'nonsense' or you brush off the poster with an inane response without a shred of plausible arguement to counter what was said, you are the bingo callers dream when it comes to dabbing the happy clappers bingo board

i don't think Leeds got too many in our 20 either, but they kept the game further towards our sticks with a great kicking game that we couldn't match.
Second half they were clearly on top.
Agree about Leeds' very quick line speed and our slow PTB. I think we could do more in that aspect, getting a 3rd and even 4th man in to slow the opposition down even more.

I had wondered when our resident from Mordor would crawl out from under his rock. Bingo plagiarism too, you need some originality Bumpy. It'd be like me starting a badly put together online petition.
Wormy's post about players being "disgruntled" and "personal dissatisfaction" is nonsense, backup up by what? Oh we lost, therefore the players must be disgruntled. The effort from the players we witnessed last night would strongly suggest differently. The fact you agreed with it speaks volumes really.
What really gets my back up, like the opening post, is the way people take the easy option and pickout Radford. Is he blameless, no. But should the players shoulder some blame too, definitely. Lot's of close-minded individuals on here, who in their disappointment after a loss (like we all are) lose their sense of perspective and race to log on to RLfans to express it.
It's sport. As a side we have plenty to improve on (both the coach & players), but we lost against a better team. It happens. It seems like it's something unique to Hull FC fans that we have to tear apart every part of our play that isn't perfect. I stayed and clapped last night. I would say I was a happy clapper, more a disappointed clapper who respected the effort the guys put in.
Oh, before I forget...

The title of this thread says it all . Club has gone backwards in terms of the first team . Very disappointing this year . I wouldn't be surprised if we lost on Wednesday.

I do know one player who is not happy and disgruntled so wormy's point does have some validity. And as you mention close minded people that again could be levelled at you and other similar posters (happy clappers) . Its 2 ends of the spectrum yes they'll be common ground in the middle but definitely people with very opposing views.

Did they play last night? What about the other 30 players?
The common ground is that we're all disappointed and we all want better. Close minded means that you're unable to see the bigger picture, other factors that are involved, and an inability to move from an opinion. I think a lot of the 'happy clappers' on here are people who are sick of the constant negativity from other posters, rather than being happy at the clubs situation.
I'd describe myself as a disappointed clapper, rather than a happy one.
