Even if he thinks its true, its unprofessional, we gave him a chance, helped him get his form back and Smith said really good things about him.

Imagine if every player who left a club went to the press to talk about their negatives experiences.

Not read it but if I had to guess I bet he's said something along the lines of "pre-season in England is different, with a different sort of intensity and something about the weather" then the headline goes "SL pre-season too easy says Clifford". The Aussie media seems even worse than ours for clickbait headlines.

I'm not doubting what he said is true but some things are better left unsaid. It doesn't reflect well on Smith, the coaching staff or even the club itself especially considering how poor we were last season.

I'd love him to come back next season but I can't see it at least not to us.

One things for sure, I hope to god we are already scouting for a half back and not leaving it to the last minute.

SL is still way behind in most facets of the game with the NRL so I'm not overly bothered what Clifford has said .
Wakefield came in for a right slagging a couple of seasons ago from some quota players about them training on fields with dog shiote all over it .
