https://www.seriousaboutrl.com/hull-fc- ... son-86299/ Sad news for me I don't know what others think but I watched him around a dozen times for various FC teams and I really felt he had a bit of the x factor that you occasionally see at that level to raise him a tad above his peers he had a natural step and a speed off the mark that you can't coach into a player all I can assume is that something has gone on here. Shame for me I'll be watching how he goes at Featherstone.

He definitely seemed to have something about him, I tipped him to be the next to break through but it seems it wasn't to be. He'll go well in the championship.

Would tend to agree with your post as for me he he had shown the attributes to stand a chance of making it at a higher level. He certainly looked to have the build and ability.

For me his departure went very much under the radar and as he seemed to be rated within the club it’s all a little odd so like you say it leads me to assume something has gone on behind the scenes.

I would imagine he'll already be negotiating with potential suitors and would be on marquee money, he is that good, I think he'll end up at Wigan, Saints or , unfortunately, Rovers to replace Hall. Lets hope it is not the latter.

The 'better players' we have lost took most of the salary cap & abjectly failed to deliver on the field.

Fully agree the culture has been the biggest failing at the club & it seems reasonable to suggest the senior players massively contribute to that.

We have a fresh start - more reasonable use of the salary cap, an apparently more professional back room staff & promising youth. Not to mention several talented players with 'something to prove'. I doubt we will improve much this year but see this as a transition year, no doubt more attractive playing style & hopefully a new hero or two to get behind.
