Agreed, better player than McIntosh and Tindall currently, will give us a bit more depth on the wings too. Salfords season could be interesting next year, they already had quite a small squad and lost Sio last week and are about to lose burgess too!

Just gets worse for Salford. They've lost Dupree, Croft, Ackers, Sio and now Burgess in 6 months.

I'd take Burgess, he's got an error in him but he's a decent winger

Burgess and Tindall as wingers, would allow us to release Mcintosh the year after.

I wonder if Salford would be intrested in Mcintosh?

Mitch to cover centre, Scott or Carlos to the backrow.

Anyone any idea why Burgess was released? I know they said for discipline but what? I don’t see him as a naughty boy but then again he doesn’t come drinking with me!

I'm guessing our location won't help. Leigh could be pretty interested in him, maybe Leeds too

Plenty of options on the wings Mcintosh,Tindall, MIitch, Barron and Martin plus Okunbor if needed.
We need a second rower more than a winger.

With regards to Burgess it depends what the disciplinary issue is for me, if it's nothing major then he's a player that would certainly improve us/the squad, giving us some much needed depth. Whilst we have McIntosh, Tindall and Okunbor the others are still relatively inexperienced. Can't see Okunbor being played on the wing as we have big issues in the 2nd row.
Its whether the club want to or more can they attract Burgess play this far East.
I'd be disappointed if we didn't at least have conversations with him and his agent.
