| If cusack was non quota i wouldnt be against his new contract (if we got rid of Dowes) but im my opinion hes a good player but we could use the quata spot better with a impact prop, full back or a centre IMO.

| As posted before, if he did come back I wouldn't attend anything FC related, including games, until he was gone. It wouldn't even be a hard decision.

| Quote berro's best mate="berro's best mate"play the highlights of that season and watch how manty tries were scored through his passes and kicks!!! a staggering amount i'll tell you....
coooke played in yeaman and raynor, briscoe countless times, maybe cooke was the foil for hornes breaks...watch them also...alot of horne breaks etc..'"
I'm well aware of his contribution, but the things he did he was able to do because of the contributions of others. To say he 'nearly single-handedly' won us the cup and got us to a GF is just incorrect. He played an important part in what the team were doing, but he couldn't have, and indeed didn't, do it without the rest of them playing well.

| I can't see why this rumour keeps cropping up. This one issue where your board and fans are as one (a few 'heretics' aside).
Also, Cooke gave an interview that was on a Rovers match day DVD recently. While unable to say anything specific about what happened for legal reasons, he did make a a couple of pointed comments about how Hull FC handled the situation. I don't expect you to any sympathy for his point of view, but it seemed pretty clear that he wasn't angling for a return.
You've got Long coming in next year to fill your creative vacuum too... it just doesn't make any sense.
[size=42Though of course, this season isn't over yet, we are, allegedly, skint, Cooke might take a wage cut for the security of a two or three year deal...[/size

i do agree with your comments but i look at the fact that since he left, whichever way right or wrong that he did, we havent been the same and the facts are there for us all to see......

Our forwards are outplayed on an almost weekly basis. Our attacking structure is virtually non-existent. We have no scrum half. All of these are just as important (if not more so) than the departure of Cooke. If you put him back into this Hull FC side for the next game, he'd be just as crap as he has for Rovers. He needs a dominant pack to be effective - like any playmaker, really.

| Long, Horne and Cooke would form an excellent triangle IMO and would take a lot of pressure off Berrigan. Like him or hate him he would improve our team, he’s not my favourite person in the world but nobody can deny his talent.

| Jamie Rooney has just signed for Barrow until the end of the season, anyone think we should have tried to sign him? Would of been a handy player for the rest of this season and no worse than what we already have

He's a disruptive influence. We don't want or need him. Long, Horne and Washbrook/Whiting will be just as effective.
