Agree about Scott. Up until last season I saw little to suggest he would become a regular SL player but after a number of impressive performances I was pleased to admit I was wrong. As you say his best performances were at centre and that's where he should be allowed to develop. In future he may transition to SR but at present he doesn't have the physicality to make the switch.

Right about Litten. He had to play too many games due to Hoy being out but he's only 20 and still has lots of development in him. You have to be patient with youngsters. Don't write them off if they have one or two average games. We can't afford to.

Tbf to Scott and any player his age and experience Covid probably came at a bad time, months of training alone then it was very stop start when it returned.

Dear oh dear

Did he really post that about Ashworth?

If we posted anything like that about a Rovers player he would be complaining and jumping to their defence :FRUSRATED:

Unbelievable :NAUGHTY:

Looks like London are pulling their academy teams from next season.

Not good news.

I agree about been patient

But he had alot more than "1 or 2 average games"

Made alot of schoolboy errors

Could understand the youngster argument if he was 17 but he's 20

Remember Richard Horne been a GB International at 19

Look how good welsby has been and he's only 22 even now

You are writing him off because he wasn't an international at 19?

I get what you are saying, but last season was his first real run at SL, and I am sure his weaknesses will be what he's working on during pre-season, given that there are two other fullbacks, Hoy and Walker to help guide him on. My only concern with him is his link play, as a member of the spine and I do wonder if he'd be able to bulk up enough to convert into a centre, as there is a talent there, no doubt. It's not really fair to compare him to Horne and Welsby, they were the sort of young talents that don't come around too often and even Welsby has games where he makes some pretty basic errors. I think he is under the right coach, in Smith, to make progress and 20 is still young, in terms of how the physique develops, so I'd like to think he'll be given the chance to progress into the player we all hope he can become.

No I'm making a point that 20 isn't all that young he's 21 in May

People talking like he's 16 just out of school

He's still a kid who hasn't played too much first team rugby on a consistent basis until recently, give him a chance.

His performances last season were good, he rarely let anyone down. He'll only get better with more exposure.

Agree. He may or may not make a quality SL player but to write him off after one season is unfair.

There's plenty of development left in him so lets see how he goes next season.

I saw more positives than negatives with Litten last season. Form dropped off, but most did towards the end of the season even Clifford, alot to do with Truemams injury.
