Watkins was one of the best centres for around 10 years

No denying Watkins was class but so was Carlos, always a 7 or 8 out of 10 when he was fit . Griffin had a good season until his brain fart against Saints and that was after a poor year following the same injury that Carlos suffered . If he is off the pace again then I’ll share your concern , but if he can be the same player he was before his Achilles rupture then he is still the best centre on our books. Nice to see Nu Brown scored against the Aussies , he looks like a very good signing for us . Tackles above his weight too.

Just watched PNG vs Fiji, Wakeman had a really good game, totally outplayed Lam, I'm not saying we should have signed him, but people write players off because they don't perform well in the NRL and particularly for struggling sides like Wests and Bulldogs.

Johnson would be worth a shout IMO. Still without a club as far as i know and he'd certainly strengthen us in the second row.

I'd rather get rid of Carlos and sign a proper 2nd row

He'll be on decent money and is behind scott and Sutcliffe now
