He wasn't poor like Reynolds or Evans but certainly didn't live up to expectation considering the hype when he signed.

Don't think that pre season friendly against Rovers did him any favours either.

I’m not sure about the vagaries of bankruptcy but I do know that it precludes the bankruptee from being a director of a company for a specific time. Hull FC is a company owned by AP, if he declares himself bankrupt then surely it’s a given that the club will be included in that bankruptcy or even foreclosed. AP doesn’t strike me as the type of person to resort to this kind of business. I’m amazed the bin dippers aren’t all over this like a rash.

Good point. I remember that game well. He was awesome and I expected that kind of performance in SL.

In retrospect it was only a friendly and the opposition included squad and academy players.

Yeh quite right but even then it was a fine performance, and we expected so much. I also remember kinda thinking back then that after that we played him down the middle too much and restricted his chances out wide.

Agree. Radford played him down the middle when he was far more effective in his customary role as a wide running SR.

Really don’t get the Joe Cator bashing. Playing in a crap side and coming back from back to back ACL’s. Perfect loose forward for next season behind the pack that’ll take the field next season.

You can't have a loose forward with zero attacking threat, look at his stats, no trys, assists, poor metres, hardly any tackle busts or offloads.

I know we are poor, but that doesn't mean individual players can't perform.

Serious question, cam anyone remember a good run by Cator last year, I can remember a few from Lane, but can't remember one from Cator.
