That would be an interesting take, having watched alot of him last season, he was probably the best player I saw at academy and Reserve level, he is still only young. Might be his attitude but I can't believe Smith doubts his ability. Only a young kid, hope we give him a new deal and try and develop him on and off the field. Think we could regret letting him go.

Unfortunately can see Leeming going to Catalans or Warrington/Saints depending on what happens with Clark.

Also seems be a few clubs in the NRL after a halfback, hopefully we can hang into Clifford for another year, be a nightmare if he goes.

Amazed no NRL are being linked to Croft, who will 100% have an NRL clause

Yeah I'm a bit concerned that the Raiders will be after a running half. Hopefully they give Brooks a shot

Exclusive: Three Super League clubs have entered the race to sign a Huddersfield Giants player for next year.

Trout is off-contract at the John Smith's Stadium at the end of this season and it is believed the Giants are keen to keep him, and have offered him a new deal.

But it is understood they face competition from a number of rivals.

According to sources, Hull FC are the front-runners to land the forward for next season.

It is believed they have offered a three-year deal to Trout.

The 23-year-old came through at Leeds but made just three appearances for the Rhinos before joining Huddersfield in 2020.

The highly-rated front-rower or second-rower has made over 50 appearances for the Giants.

He has also played once for the England Knights and is the younger brother of Keighley forward Kyle.
