I'd have said Ligi Sao leads by example but unfortunately he gets a few bans.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

To be honest I think Sao would be a good shout as he has been one of the few that has always shown desire to play and can't fault his effort. I do believe some of his bans have been born out of frustration with poor efforts around him and him trying to make up for that as well as sometimes playing more minutes than he should be expected too.

Its a sorry state of affairs when you look at the squad not just this season but next season and just can't see where the leaders are within the group of players.

On the bright side maybe its a chance for some of the younger players to step up, Fash has been mentioned.
Of the incoming players, Dwyer is very experienced so maybe in with a shout?

Dwyer shouting motivational quotes from the bench until the 73rd minute when he's allowed to come on and lead from the front for 7 minutes? :D

I have heard he is very quiet off the pitch though, keeps him self to himself.

I'd probably go with Fash given the poor options available, at least he works hard.

I'd like a captain who plays 80 minutes, that doesn't give us many options a d no real standouts.
