Hard Work Beats Talent, When Talent Doesn't Work Hard

Surely now is the time to never pick Johnstone again?

Won’t be here next season and offers absolutely nothing that an academy player doesn’t.

At least picking some academy players will give it a bit of interest because watching the same lazy lot just doesn’t appeal.
You could have dragged somebody out of the crowd to do what he did on Sunday.

I'd bring anyone in, he didn't make one run on Sunday where he was tackled.

When was the last time you saw any player make 0 runs in a game where they played a few minutes?

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Changes in the 17 need to be made and should have been made long before now and not just because of injuries/suspensions. With no realistic chance of making the play offs its time to give the reserve squad members the opportunity and lets be honest they can't do any worse than the so called senior pro's.

To do nothing or make minimal changes due to them being forced upon due to injury/suspension beggars belief and as Einstein said "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results" and for me that sums up the current Coaching set up as the only real time BH tried something a little different was Leeds away when we looked a far better team.

Tbh in your team I wouldn’t have Lovodua at centre.

Rather Mitch at centre and the other young winger, Martin, play.

Choice then is Severs on bench and Balmforth or Lovodua as interchange hooker.

Wakefield also know that if they win, then they are basically 99.9999% assured of SL safety - that's motivation.
We have none.
When Leeds beat KR then the players knew that was the end of the play off hope and they are focused on Mad Monday

Need to view last 4 games as a mini season.
Playing for respect & provide some hope for next season, not to mention the finance of members renewing.
Do feel for AP as he continues to provide the cash to succeed. It seems to me there is an ongoing power struggle between player power & the coaching staff ? Maybe all need changing if our DNA hopes to evolve to match Saints etc ?

Never need to change the players - just the Coach
the last great coach we had was Brian Smith
and he worked with what he had

Made ordinary players play well above themselves, one of the players I knew said he made you feel like the best player in the world after a chat with him.He said he gave you a job to do and you had to do it, bit different now, like headless chickens

Pearson is part of the problem here.He deserves better but there is little point having this fantasy island idea that suddenly seven or eight of our promising younger players will become S/L stars and catapult the club into a top team.May be his dream but it aint going to happen.
You need first a strong confident first team squad so you can drip feed younger players into the team.Doesnt happen the other way round.
It also wont happen under this current coach.
No reaction from the Chairman.Seems to me he has given up and wouldnt surprise me if he puts the club up for sale
