He's got a chance from me and I'm hoping with a bigger budget and hopefully he has learned from his hull experience he will take us around playoffs. But that's another topic.

2 good players (hopefully) on their way from NZW to SL who can contribute to our respective teams.

Bigger than a budget that brought in Gleeson, Long, Fitzgibbon, O'Meley, Tansey et al and paid a fee for Westerman??

Re: Seymour : Wed Oct 05, 2011 9:52 am
Canterbury won their third straight NSW Cup premiership with a miracle try in the final 30 seconds to centre Jonathan Wright to clinch a 30-28 win over the Auckland Vulcans on Sunday.
Down 26-24 on the final tackle, Bulldogs halfback Josh Reynolds scampered across field, linking up with Wright who cut back on the inside to score.
The put down looked contentious, but with no video referee available in the NSW Cup, referee Jon Stone pointed to the spot - with the Bulldogs exploding in jubiliation.
Advertisement: Story continues below
An upset looked on the cards when the minor premiers trailed 12-10 at halftime, but in the end the Bulldogs incredible 738 games worth of NRL experience got them home.
At stages this season when the Bulldogs were struggling in first grade, it wasn't beyond the realms of possibility that their reserves team could have beaten their NRL side in a match - such is the spread of depth and experience at the club.
It's Justin Holbrook's second year as a grand final winning coach, and after three straight titles, the Bulldogs NSW Cup side will go down as one of the best second grade teams of all time.
Canterbury winger Michael Lett did his best to convince an NRL club to give a lifeline next year, after a sizzling second half performance.
Unwanted by Canterbury next year, the 24-year-old journeyman is on the hunt for his fourth club in 2012, after previous stints at the Sydney Roosters and St George Illawarra.
Although he's played just 14 NRL matches since debuting for the Roosters in 2005, Lett showed the speed and raw instinct that made him a junior star.
He wasn't perfect, he made a glaring mistake in not cleaning up a kick which got the Vulcans back into the match in the 59th minute.
But otherwise in the second half Lett was electric - scoring two tries and making a scintilating kick return up the middle of the field that set up the try of the match for Joel Romelo which gave the Bulldogs a 16-12 lead in the 44th minute.
The Vulcans fought right to the death and were desperately unlucky, with halves Pita Godinet and Brett Seymour their best.
CANTERBURY-BANKSTOWN 30 (J Wright 2 M Lett 2 T Cutler J Romelo tries B Goodwin 3 goals) bt AUCKLAND 28 (W Peace 2 G Fisiiahi P Godinet I Penehe tries B Seymour 4 goals).

Seymour had a good game apparently.

When I say bigger budget I meant compared to 2011 and John Kear not Hull.

Don't remember him saying that. He did say they were looking at ways to get more value out of the cap

Hope its not through the Wigan School of Economics?
If so watch out for the players wives and girlfriends working in the Club Shop in the near future!
