Sadly I think you are right, under Pearson, gone are the days where we pay transfer fees for players. The frustrating thing about that, is that the last two years we have just given away two contracted players for nothing.

Unless we can sign overseas players that turn out miles better than expected and we can start producing high quality SL players from our academy, I don't see us challenging under Pearson again.

Had a quick look at fevs squad thinking they may have 1-2 players we could poach.

Really slim picking on the domestic front. Thrown a lot of money at over the hill quota players.

I’d consider Hankinson, always thought he looks a decent player and can kick goals. Scott, Hankinson & Sutty would be pretty solid if Carlos can’t find form/moves to back row.

Brad day, not so sure on this one. Don’t think he’s ever played SL and he’s 29. Not sure he’s got the pedigree, but cheap depth in back row and fits the 6”4 quota Pearson wants. If we’re not signing a back rower he could be worth a risk

Not a transfer rumour, but a rumour that I heard this weekend, from a 75% success rate source

AP is going to declare bankruptcy, and the owner of eBuyer is investing in the club. Now normally, this would be laughed off, but this is a decent source, and also, there was a post on here around 5 months ago with a similar suggestion. Seems a long time in between rumours on the same subject. Wonder if there is something in it

Yes it was owned by the Healey family but it was sold earlier this year to an investment company based in Cambridge.

I'd heard a while ago something along the lines of people behind Ebuyer having some involvement/investment in the club next season, also heard a member of the Healey family was also interested. How much is true or which if any is true who knows?

I am sure AP said that the debts were personal debts, not through the club, so not sure legally that the RFL could fine us?
