Quite enjoying the Partington and Shorrocks rumours. I’ll temper my expectation as 600 pages of rumour has yielded way more fantasy than reality so far, but one or both of them gives, for me, a highly competitive pack and a better platform for the back division.

Im certain we haven’t seen anything near the best of Hoy and Trueman. I think they could be equivalent new signings behind a hungry pack and more urgency at PTB.

Cust - yes please.

Here already, settled and a proven quantity.

But since the injury he's struggled with his passing game and is a little suspect defensively. Telegraphs the dummy a lot. Worth a punt for Hull as you can be sure he'll give you everything he has but all dependent on him finding his confidence again.

I'd take a look at matty Ashurst at Wakefield always rated him

Think Cust and Shorrocks would be good for depth at loose forward, halfback and hooker. But would leave us a little short in the 2nd row.

If okunbor and ashworth are going to be our 2nd rows, i dont doubt theyl offer better go forward, but big question on their defence? Anyone watched alot of them?

Jebson, Staveley and Severs coming through so wondering if we l trust the youth as well as Lane as backup?

I think Okunbor would be okay but Ashworths mobility worries me, he's a really big lad, could see him getting done on the inside a lot.

Can only see Partington going to Leigh if anywhere.

We won't pay a fee for Russell so won't pay one for him.
