There is a reason he was top of my ignore list. So I don’t have to read such rubbish unless someone quotes it.

He slags FC players off and makes fun of them but the minute we do that to a Rovers player he doesn’t like it.

If one of our players had kicked out on the full (twice) he would be having a right go at them.

Yeah they were well beaten all over the park but a major part of that was because he kicked off on the full immediately putting them back under pressure and allowing Wigan to score tries back to back.

If he starts following a few Hull players this week I'll be more inclined to believe it.

He follows Hoy, but they are both from Newcastle so that's probably that link

While I can see us going for Cust and wouldn't be surprised if we do get him, you only have to look at his list of follows in general to see that young Pearson fits the profile of 75% of his following list. May just be a coincidence.

Having Smith, Ashworth and Tindall all announced this week gives the feeling they are building up to the two unknowns to be announced, with no respect they will likely be more popular and will hopefully build up some excitement ahead of the membership campaign.

Having seen earlier, I’d be happy with Partington at 13, think that would be a great signing if true.

Cust, Partington/Shorrocks and a backrower hopefully.

A couple of other options is to sign a centre and use Carlos in the backrow or sign both Partington and Shorrocks and use Ashworth in the backrow.

As mentioned before think that might be the option reading Ashworth comments about what Smith wants him to do during the off season.

Cust is a lovely bloke and has had a fantastic attitude ever since coming here. To see the level of enthusiasm, support and camaraderie he provides in the warm up, post game and in the reserves is very unusual for an overseas player out of the team. Now I could understand how fans of the club potentially signing him would ask why is he in the reserves in the first place. I think that's down to a combination of injury, a lack of confidence and no clear place for him in the 17 after Bevan French was moved to 6.

When he first signed for Wigan, fans and pundits in Australia were raving about him and he was favourite for Man of Steel. He looked very exciting for us until the arm injury in the Challenge Cup Final - seemed a good organiser, ran the ball often and had a decent kicking game. But since the injury he's struggled with his passing game and is a little suspect defensively. Telegraphs the dummy a lot. Worth a punt for Hull as you can be sure he'll give you everything he has but all dependent on him finding his confidence again.
