Sorry but there is a reason why were turd and that's because a lot of our players really arnt that good. You all love to slag off Johnstone, Fonua, Sneyd yet a bang average player like Tui gets a free reign because he gets 7/10 in most games. He's a centre, alongside wingers arnt they supposed to be the guys who score the tries for example like Hall at Rovers? Well Tui doesn't do much of that, nor rounds defenders, nor puts his wingman away. He simply defends well. And that's who some of you think is the example that should be used to show that Lovadua will come good at fc - well if he's as average as Tui then things arnt gonna improve very quickly if at all.

Carlos is a fine centre Seb, who can also play six when required, take a look at his highlights he’s so classy, and although not the quickest, he’s no slouch. Off the top of my head, apart from James L, and perhaps Richie Barnet, I can’t really think of many overseas centres who have been better for us,
There’s a few centres around who can beat players one on one, Young Newman at Leeds, Percy, but once again the game now is so defence orientated, that part of centre play, has alas diminished.
Mahe hasn’t hit the heights of his first spell unfortunately, and JJ doesn’t seem to have that athleticism or guile needed as a modern nine, these views would also seem to be shared with our new coach.
But if I were forced into identifying a criticism of Carlos, I would say, sometimes he needs to believe in his self more, he seems so unassuming, almost too reserved in his nature,
If tui played at a top club he'd be a superstar, Wigan was sniffing around him a while back. Your only as good as the players around you at the end of the day
I have seen a fair few overseas players in my time watching Hull, of those who were centres, obviously James L and R Barnett would be the finest, in any era, but I can recall Damien McGarry, Brad Webb, David (?) Moon, Graham Makay , Dion Bird and a few who I cannot remember from the Gateshead team and Carlos is better than any of them, in my opinion. It is hard to judge though, SL is probably poorest in standard since it started and compare the current Saints team to the ones which boasted Long, Sculthorpe, Joynt and Wellens et al and it doesn't stand up well, same with Wigan, Leeds and throw in Bradford Bulls and the point becomes clear, however, I do think Carlos would have been a good player in any of those eras, he is classy, strong and deceptively quick, he rarely has a stinker of a game and I am just glad we have him long term, with the current dearth of available centre talent open to SL.

I have thought for a while, that you don’t watch many of our games. Your thoughts on TUI, reinforce my view.
