But were comparing a test international to graeme horne - and horne is performing much better than King

I think he is a much better player than G.Horne, he just hasn't shown it at Wire. Even Andrew Johns managed to fail at Wire! I think that he would be worth signing if he wasn't on a monster contract. I think that with Briscoe looking as if he is going to be a very good winger, and Hall looking like he is going to nail the fullback spot once Tony goes (if Tony goes) it leaves a hole at centre which I don't think G.Horne is the player to fill long term. But you are talking to someone who doesn't rate G.Hornes performances, and also doesn't base his whole opinion of a player on a season and a few games of another. King has failed at Wire but its not as if he has been playing terrible for year after year is it? He was very good down under and would be worth a gamble imo, if he didnt cost too much
