Ashworth could be anything for us. Re capture his St Helen’s form and he gives us some whack but if he doesn’t sort himself out he has massive flop written all over him.

Tindall is a big step down on swift but potential is their word here and he has wheels. He will also be v cheap which is good in a SC sport.

Smith is just a steady squad player who should add some balance to the squad. And is an improvement on both the players he’s replacing.

I’m shocked we haven’t had a tug at Bill leyland. Hooker, young player of year nominee. Must show club do have faith in Balmforth & Hodgson

I don't get it and I've given up trying too. This wall of silence is baffling!

if they were holding signings back to make a big push for season ticket sales then why announce the three imports and Walker whilst the sort of makeweight signings are still under wraps. The communication between the club and the supporters is for me at an all time low. All we had was Pearsons interview on Humberside where he stated that we had signed some big forwards but that was overshadowed by the statement about the next 6 months being hard to survive and the amount of money loaned (£500,000 I believe) that we have to pay back to the Government by February. wE're not on our own either I see that Cas are in the same boat and announcing playing well under cap next season because of it. However that plus our recruitment thus far and the clubs inability to level with us hardly engenders any excitement or hope does it? And as for getting new subscribers clambering for tickets ?????

How they price the passes will be interesting, youd expect an increase due to inflation but too big of an increase will get a negative reaction.

Understand they are currently working on a BOGOF
This is due to the way they include all the pass sales in the home attendance and to try and ensure we show home gates over 10,000

Are we the only club in SL that includes season ticket sales in reported gates or does everyone else include only those physically in attendance?

Ask that Rovers supporter, maybe he goes and videos crowds at other clubs too.

Its a reasonable practice IMO the fans have paid to be there. I think the much specultated SMC have to buy 1 or 2k tickets is the main difference between actual fans in the ground and the numbers.

More fans sitting in the West stand than when the ground first opened does alter perceptions a bit though, the East & South used to be busier but some fans have drifted over to the West over the years.

I love Swifty and he was our best player by a mile this season but let's give Tindall and others a chance, before this season Swift had a fair few injuries and loss of form just that this season he was very consistent and injury free.

I've watched Tindall a bit at Bradford. Ok he's not swift, but he is young.
He's got a lot of pace, decent size for a young lad, looks powerful as well. I think in time, he could make a very very good winger.

Ashworth under TS, i think he will be a good signing. Smith from wakey, can't say I've seen that much of him, but read a lot about him and sounds a decent player. Probably a step up to McNamara.

With grix coming in from Fax, anyone think Walmsley is worth a punt? He's fast, scores a lot of tries, tall?
