Johns is a decent goalkicker which would solve one potential problem, I'll be willing to reserve judgement until we see him but he seems the best available option from oversees.

Not blown away by this. No real NRL presence, looks very lightweight as a player (even as a half back), and not great reviews on his rugby ability, though Manly fans say he is a great young person. Big on Social Media and podcasts but people seem to think that should be his focus, not Rugby. So, quite concerned by the signing to be honest

To be fair to John's not having a massive presence in games. He played for Melbourne with Munster, Hughes, Grant and Hynes who would've dominated the ball and at Manly next to DCE who's probably the most dominant half in the NRL

Seems to fit the recruitment brief of bringing in younger players.
I’d rather take that chance then signing someone like Frawley.

Will mean we have a fair bit of youth, pace and versatility in the pivots.
