not interested who he sh-gs at the back of the pub.
Always said Broadbent would be a good signing for us.Can play halfback and centre and has pace.

Tony Smith signed Westerman for Warrington, of course, so it may not be entirely out of the question.

Mellor would be ok better than Lane.

Two I'd have is Broadbent and Westy (I know he comes with baggage) but both would improve us massively, doubt either would be available too

Westerman on a 1 year deal certainly isn't the worst idea, as he would improve us playing at 13.

As for Newman he certainly has the talent and the pace but seems to be another that suffers with frequent injuries and his attitude has certainly been questionable this season though as that could be down to frustration as Leeds are as bad a basket case as us if not even a little worse.

I'd say if the money was right then Westerman could be tempted ... Just don't tell his ex how much he's getting :D

We haven't had for years, experience doesn't also mean good leadership either, with Gale and Reynolds you couldn't get on paper anymore leadership and experience and look what happened there

exactly, just look at Kevin Proctor, prime example of coming over here with all the experience in the world and turned out to be a right dud.

Just reading Dan’s latest contract situation article and Jesus, it makes for grim reading. Some of these signings to come could do with being head turners.

Like the idea of Westerman for a year
If a class player like Newman comes onto the market then if we have any ambition as a club we have to be interested.
With Swift leaving we have no strike now in our threequarters and i know we need forwards but this has to be looked at.

If Newman were to be available, we should be offering Carlos to clubs, making a big offer to Newman and using Carlos' quota spot on another second rower
