Thought Connor was really good yesterday. Just seeing him play well against us hurts. Completely bossed the game from half back which I believe is his best position. Mind you he benefited from the fact we had 13 statues on the pitch.He has his critics on here but I was gutted to lose him and would have him back in a heartbeat.

100%, great player, halfback is his position, took some time to get going, but is starting to show what he is capable of, with go really well with Clune next season

He’s not SL starting quality. He’ll be back up for them still, already losing Pryce and Fages too aren’t they.

Whatever squad we have next year will be an improvement. There's no magic wand that's gonna take us from a bottom three team to a top team overnight . We know it's a massive challenge. We can't keep sacking the coach. We have to trust Smith .He's already started the clear out and think he will continue to do so.

That was jakes problem. Give him space and time and he’s a world beater. Put him under pressure and he unfortunately couldn’t do it. We were that poor yesterday some of the top amateur clubs would have beaten us.
I don’t like criticising our players that put the shirt on but I could have done better than some of them..
I thought I’d seen the end of the “ flapping arm tackling technique “
It’s what school kids do not well paid pro athletes.

Problem at Hull was, he was our only threat, playing with Reynolds and Gale, all you had to do was stop Connor as the other two where useless, at Hudds they have other threats in Pryce and Lolohea.

Hoy, Connor amd Cliiford would have been a great combo.
