Firstly, literal relates the the written word, not spoken.

Secondly, it has been used as a figure of speech for centuries

Lastly, words are defined by usage. So dictionaries have been updated to include its use as a figure of speech.

Yeah, heard this a while back. I know they do Newcastle, England Cricket and some other teams. Not had much experience of their stuff, but keen to see what they can do, as our off field range has been great the last few seasons
