briscoe is sneaky fast, like gary Connolly used to be. but mcgoldrick is not really a good yardstick.

People bang on about stats on here but a stat that isn't taken into account is the amount of penalties a player wins which is something Briscoe is sensational at, be it winning 1 for causing a player to hold him down too long or catching markers not square.

Briscoe is probably the best in Super League but the world? No, for example:
Matt Duffie
Jason Nightingale
Jharal Yow Yeh
Brett Morris
A Uate
Nathan Merritt
just to name a few

Uate was a machine in SOO, he throws his body into the defence after every kick return.

However I do think Briscoe has world class qualities. His ability to run at pace through opposition defences and create a chance of scoring from a stand still is phenomenal.

Yow Yeh and Uate are a class above every other winger in world rugby.

I wouldn't swap Briscoe for any of the other players you have named though especially Matt Duffie who has no right to be on a best wingers in the world list.
