News like this is thankfully rare.......It really sent a shudder through all the rugby supporting regulars in The Pelican Pub last night. It just shows how fragile life is sometimes. Hats off to every RL player that puts his life on the line for our entertainment every week......You are all appreciated (although it seems otherwise at times!!!!! )

RIP Leon, I'm sure the Wildcats will do you (and Adam) proud this year......Tragic loss!

Difficult to put into words any emotions after watching that,just feel so sorry for the family , and of course,as was said,the player who last came into contact with Leon.How must that lad feel ?

I think what we we all say to ourselves when something tragically like this happens is that we should all make the most of what we have and cherish every moment we are here,easier said than done , in these times i know .Just a thought.

Have just watched the interview with his Dad and sister. As a Mother I have been heartbroken all week but that has sent me over the edge. What a great man Leons Dad is to talk so openly. I hope the Celtic player has seen the interview. God Bless all but especially Leon. Great love to his Mum and Dad and family
