"It’s mixed emotions for me at the moment, but it’s the right time to move on. I’m very proud of what I’ve achieved. My family love Hull FC as much as I do. My kids know no different; they love this club. To spend nine years at one club is a special achievement. The club will always hold a special place in my heart, and I’ve got memories here that will last me a lifetime".
Carlos is a real hero for our time and the last of the 2016 invincible to leave the club. His final two season have been injury plagued and he has never really got going, but you only have to watch him now one on one with his opposite centre to know he still has it and he's scored some memorable tries over the years and and as an unselfish provider made a whole lot more.
Myler is being ruthless and that is exactly what we need and it hurts at times, but I guess we have to see just how much fit and mobile quality we can get into next years team and so this, sort of wheeler dealing is necessary. So, I guess it's a logical step but never-the-less a sad one. But he departs leaving us with some great memories of a true professional, who has never been any bother on the field or in the changing room and who has always given his all for the cause.
Great memories and good luck to Carlos who probably thinks a move will bring him more luck injury wise whilst for us lot his leaving sees us taking another step forward to next season and another step into the dark of uncertainty.
