do us all good to have a top signing announced this week,i noticed on saturday,even though we wernt thrashed,there was a lot of booing at the end of each half,people are losing patience.

So it's wrong to slag off the Okunbor signing until he's played for the club but Ashworth and Tindall are fair game?

I must be in the minority who thinks Ashworth could prove to be a solid signing. Important to remember this is a Grand Final winning prop who was consistently getting in a very strong saints side up until his off-field issues. His move to Huddersfield has perhaps hindered his progression but at 28 he still has his best years to come, if he can find some form he could be a decent pick up. He's certainly fits the criteria Smith has set for our forward recruitment (big, strong, moblie etc).

If Leigh can go out and sign an overseas halfback to replace Reynolds why cant we?
