He doesn't appear very safe under the highball, and he's missed 18.5% of his tackles attempted this season.
Have to say that whilst I can see that there don't seem to be many (any?) better alternatives available, from what I've seen he's not exactly an exciting prospect. I wouldn't say he was a patch on McKinnon, either, and doubt anybody would if McKinnon was still here.
Hopefully he hasn't shown his best over here and we'll see a better player if he has signed.
