It's worth looking at players under contract in 24. They may get an early release. If we're after a "full back" we could be considering a half.

The WC comment sounds a bit of a throw away remark. We've described Okunbur as a "power house". Anyone who is genuinely WC wouldn't be considering SL. Just makes me think it's someone towards the end of their career who has some international experience.

I'll go for Moylan or Milford. Both were of interest to SL earlier in the season.

We won't sign a world class FB, if Clarke said that he is talking nonsense.

On Okunbor, I'll reserve judgement until I've seem him play SL, on that try, Kikua was as much at fault won't have the likes of DCE running at him here is SL.

That’s what I am struggling to get my head around. A decision. which has since been compounded by Savelio going to Huddersfield for 2024.

I’ll give Okunbor a chance with us and hopefully he’ll prove to be a good signing for us.

If we didn't want to extend him for next year, fair enough, but I really don't understand why we let him go this year. Unless something went on behind the scenes as it makes no sense from a playing point of view.
Hopefully everything will look rosier once we have a clearer picture of recruitment.

No issues with Okunbor, Smith must think he can add value to our side.

I'm more worried about who plays the other 2nd row position.

Satae apart our forward stats yesterday were appealing, 2nd most metres us about 54.

If we’re signing a fullback from aus I hope it’s Bailey Hodgson. Probably ahead of Litten in his development and non quota meaning we could sign a half or back rower as well.

Imagine having Litten and Hodgson battling it out for the next 10 years.

Problem with Hodgson is he has had some real issues with injuries.

I rather sign an more experienced player like Jowitt, Dagger or Hampshire.
