Depends if they have a quota spot. A lot of the lower teams are, not entirely coincidentally, those with the smallest budgets. Can Hull themselves afford to be subsidising deals for players to play elsewhere to any substantial extent?

Also with Leigh have put their coat on bottom spot so early more clubs will be further on with their recruitment than in some other years.

Swap deal for somebody out of favour elsewhere maybe? Hoping a change of scenery benefits everybody.

He seemed to completely lose the plot in his last few games for the Warriors. Didn't he get binned 3 times in 2 games?
