Aaron Bower reporting clubs (including Huddersfield), are making enquiries about signing Sam Powell for next year, would he be worth looking at? Non quota, experienced, has that winning Wigan mentality and will allow us to use our quota spots on a 7 and/or second rowers

HDM reporting Jayden Okunbur signed from Canterbury bulldogs, second rower that can also play wing... another signing that nobody has mentioned so far, the club are good at keeping things under wraps! I've not heard of him before, is he any good? Upgrade on savellio?

I've not heard of Okunbor but sounds like a big lad, 6ft 5in and 17 stone. Played a lot on the wing by the looks of it which is an interesting option.

Another one that wasn't rumoured.

Just had a quick Google and he was involved in the same incident as Hawarira-Naira, is this the sort of signing the club should be making?

All the talk about improving the culture within the club is a load of absolute rubbish if this is the type of signing we’re making

Signing Okunbor just stinks of desperation so we go to the very bottom of the barrel and sign this guy and that’s ignoring his off field history.

I hope I’m wrong but this is setting off my Reynolds/Evans alarm

As far as I have read he had relations at age 23 with a 17 year old, which is over the age of consent, got sacked but the NRL later overturned that decision.

So a debatable topic when it comes to morals ans standards but nothing illegal (which id imagine would have blocked a UK visa anyway)
