McIntosh brings the ball out of backplay but never gets into the postions Swift does to back up midfield breaks thats why i said cant see us been able to sign a like for like for either Clifford or Swift.
Clifford not only dictates but is also a running half who regularly breaks the line.
Agree and he does it on the left side, Swift’s wing. Trueman plays the right channel and doesn’t make those breaks, hence Carlos and Macintosh run the ball up. Trueman’s speciality is the long cut out pass evidenced against Wakey.
