Edwards will never return to RL.

Heard today that Ian Millward has expressed an interest in coming to FC. Always provides entertaining rugby!!

Also heard we have signed 2 young(ish) props and that Lauaki, Washbrook, Dowes, Obst and Burnett will all leave at the end of the season. Oh well!

I suggest Longy starts at under 8s and works his way through, Longy loves controversy hence his comments/jokes about building a gypsy site on some land, he has not grown up and I fear he will always want to be the clown. No wonder he is head coach of Paramatta I believe, and he coached New Zealand to the World Cup win........How can you compare Sean Long to an NRL head coach & World Cup winning coach, what do you mean Kearney wants to coach ?

If you honestly believe the reason Long never got in a top club is because they already have people in situ you need to give your head a shake

Can't believe Agar was mentioned in the same breath as Bennett,Gould and Murray.

Neither can I but I have heard from several people how much Ogre rates Agar, its unthinkable as you say he can even compared to some of the coaches that have been listed.

Long expects to learn his new trade over an extended period of time - up to 8 years according to comments on his twitter. Somewhere like Salford is an ideal first step and is no reflection whatsoever on what 'top RL teams' might or might not think about him. There's your lack of objectivity right there.

As for your second point - are you for real? For a start he doesn't post anything controversial on Twitter, and for seconds if you can't think why someone who is already in a coaching job might be a little more careful about his public profile than a player then I don't know what to say. Basing your entire opinion of someone on a book about his past and his current Twitter feed seems somewhat less than sensible to me.
