Can't have green on Hull FC shirts. It's historically an unlucky colour for fishermen.

Very true and could never understand why the decks of some of the Trawlers I did repairs on had green painted decks and green flooring on the processing decks?? Plus the nets were often green.

Would be nice to go back to the traditional black and white irregular hoops

not even for charity? I get the whole history, my family are all off hessle road and from a fishing family. im thinking of the here and now....Im sure you put your point across when Lime sponsred the collor on this years shirt

Think if club asked Sid Domic he'd do them for next season bit to late now
