he's been heavily involved with the side since Kear's days, its hardly like he walked in last season and had to be introduced to everyone. The problems should have been obvious before he even got the head coach's job, its a whole year later and we're no better than we were then.

Mate, you're living in cloud cuckoo land. A lack of a half back doesn't stop us from getting quick PTB, dominating the opposition in defence, making effective interchanges, offloading the ball, backing up the man in posession, running dummy runners, kicking the ball effectively, chasing down kicks as though we're actually interested. It's all down to pish poor coaching. You can tell yourself all you want that sean long will make everything OK again but take it from me, he won't

He couldn't do anything as assistant coach, our main problem lies with the personnel on the pitch, something he could do nothing about until now because of contracts etc.

They saw it needed changing, & did it.
Very pro-active & it's paid off.
No chance of Hull ever doing it though!

I'll give you the interchange thing, but look at us in attack totally unorganised which means should we ever get the quick ptb (usually on the back of Cusack, Dowes or Manu) the only option open to the acting half is to scoot themselves because nobody is ready. Look how slow we are to tap the ball on the 20 ffs. Again support play and offloading is nothing to do with Agar it's been atrocious for years, kicking again is down to lack of personnel Richard Horne should not be anywhere near kicking a ball but has to because there is no one else. We do need more enthusiasm in both attack and defence and maybe once Agar can offload some of the players who are clearly going through the motions this might change.

Codswallop. It's down to coaching, whether that be Agar or the coaches before him. The fact he inherited a problem and hasn't fixed it does not clear him of being at fault.

He's got the same lazy players, let him build his squad and then judge him. Constant knee jerk reactions in regards to coaches by the board only have a detrimental effect in the long run.

it has been obvious for years, so do you not think that the very minute Agar took over he should have made it his top priority, asking the board to bring in a new attack coach if necessary? just what has he done to change anything?

instead we've had a whole year of no progress, in fact i think its actually worse, because at least last season we had the injuries excuse and were getting players like Fellous in just to make a team.
