To be fair, the comments to this thread are very sensible. Dowes, Cusack and, to an extent Radford, are all out on their feet and need a rest heading into the busy easter schedule.
This was a perfect opportunity to field Thackray, Maloney???, Whiting and Washbrook to give some respite to a tired pack.
Agree Thacks & Maloney who knows..I have no doubt the coaching team have their reasons and at the moment I have my faith in them..if things get worse thens the time to ask questions. But I am happy so far with what we have achieved so far rightly or wrongly.

For me resting our props seems the sensible thing to do.
There must be a reason that the coaching staff have decided not to do this Imo.
Is it down to the players themselves, could it be that our two main props are in the form of their lives and no one wants them to lose form through inactivity, who knows?
I know this. If Agar had left them out today and we ended up getting beat, people would be asking why we didn't play our form players.

Me too, there is still a long way to go and agar should be judged on the full season not the 1st 7 games, yes we are having a little wobble but i've seen enough in the first part of the season to suggest we will be top 4. Agar got his tactics wrong against quins and didn't tactically adapt to the conditions(which we probably won't face again this year).
I am a little worried about our prop rotation but i'm willing to give agar benefit of doubt for the time being. Although the players themselves should be telling agar if they need more of a rest during games!
the rest have it all to prove, and in Motu Tony's case we'd need to see how his knee copes on his return.
and whilst Thorman wasn't a bad move when we needed to replace Dykes at short notice, i hope the club finally take the cheque book to Australia and get us a top class half back, year after year we fail to address the problem.
stop moaning! 7 games 5 wins.. we are 7 points of last years total points

Yup.
I count myself as pretty firmly in the 'Agar-sceptic' camp, but this is not the game to be resting players. Our only realistic chance of silverware this season is the CC, and underestimating Salford could end that chance at the first hurdle.
He's got himself in something of a corner with his odd bench selections and lack of prop rotation in the last 7 games, but this is not the game to try and fix that problem. We need to just be focused on winning and nothing else.

That for me Kosh is the crux of the matter.
We shouldn't need to rest players at this stage of the season (unless there's injury concerns), just manage their fitness/energy levels better.

IMO of course.
I'd agree with that.
TBF I think folk are just concerned about our pretty torrid Easter schedule. It's hard enough on players at the best of times, but this year we have short turnarounds and lack of prop rotation to contend with as well.
I still think we need to go with our in form players, though.
