Oh I agree and have been saying for a while the Danny isn't as good as some are making out on here. He needs time to develop other areas of his game and I think the pressure of first team rugby isn't allowing him to do that. Having Lee and Houghton on the bench is a waste. Id rather use Lee at Hooker IF Berro needs a 10 minute rest and then Lee can also spell the back row.
Houghton is supposed to come on and impact around the ruck but he seems to be doing less of that this season. Without he scoots he is not the same player, I would agree Lee adds more control at the ptb than Danny.
All existing and generally known ways to immortality can be divided into four catagories.
The way of the Fakir.
The way of the Monk.
The way of the Yogi.
The most honourable being 'The way of the FC'

That was/is Dannys strength and his enjoyment in doing that was visible, he hasn't lost it he's just not using it for whatever reason, possibly/probably instructed to do so.
Craig Bellamy: "We're not boxers, we're footy players, and we've got to keep reminding ourselves of that. We're not too worried about getting bashed, believe me. We've got Michael Crocker."
Thorman - his kicking game is his best asset and that can still be used from full back. Calderwood Yeaman G.Horne Briscoe Hall - needs to be more involved and less exposed R.Horne King Houghton/Berrigan if fit. Cusack Tickle Radford Lee
Thackray Manu Washy Whiting
Thorman should be no where near the FB spot, he needs to be at halfback or we will have even less organisation at halfback than we have now.
Horne isnt a 7, as he has proved on many occasions int he past, his perforamnces this season with Thorman have been excellent this season, apart from Saturday.
We the players we have coming back Lee shouldnt be anywhere near the 17.
Our main problem is we are too predictable, and that comes now to coaching and selection IMO.

We have too much organisation and not enough flair and imagination

You're right Horne isn't a 7, but in all honesty it doesn't matter what position you play him he'll still play the same way and with Thorman at FB he can spend the time we are in possession in the line and playing his normal game, leaving Horne to play his.

Great reward for an improved season so far, he's been one of our better players so lets drop him just because his name is Tommy Lee.

So why would you drop one of the few players that will do things off the cuff (Lee) and leave the other one (Hall) stood twiddling his thumbs at Full Back?

I think you are wrong on all four of your points.
For the record i don't think we should drop Tommy atm. Which is what i think Dave.K meant by saying we have better players coming back.
tommy lee does a job for the team but we wana b one of the top teams and would he get anywhere near the saints or leeds squads - nope . he's not the only 1 aswel .

Precisely. Was a good prospect, but no longer up to the standard we want to be. That said, i'm not saying we should get rid of him either, not just yet
