Its a nice situation to be in. 4 or 5 players could play right centre and I am sure whoever has the position knows that. Competition for places is a strength and I would go so far as saying no player is nailed on for any position if performance doesnt warrant it.

Personally I think 4 or 5 players could play either Centre spot but we know Yeamans a shoe in for the left spot.

Whilst Yeamans defence is the most solid IMO he can sometimes be lazy in attack only offering to work when the ball comes to him instead of running a line and creating an option.

I'd like to see his spot under pressure a bit more.

Its been said in the media that no ones spot is safe but even through bad performances we've never seen evidence of this.

For me Briscoe isn't a Winger. He's had first team experience now and knows what its all about and i'd like to see him go back to Under21's and develope himself as a Centre until the time is right.

Hall for me is more suited to cover the Wing spot. He's a similar player to the likes of Pat Richards, Hicks and in the future possible even King, tall and pacey.

For now G.Horne is doing a good job at Centre but i'd still like to see him move into the pack at some point.

some good points there mate, but agar sees briscoe as a winger and he feels that the lad is quite adequate to play in raynors boots, not sure what will happen when raynor is fit but who knows if briscoe keeps up the good form whats to say raynor will get back in the team.

I thought it was a bit odd 'Alderwoo' not clapping the fans with the rest of the team after the match. I've never been a big fan of Calderwood but he plays for us now so I must warm to him. Thought he did well whilst being outplayed by a local youngster :-)

Eh? Which stand was you in? Calderwood went across to the Wigan fans first who gave him a good acknowledgement. He then walked in front of the East stand from North to South waving, clapping and grinning his head off, to meet the rest of the team on their way over to the middle of East.

He then shook hands and exchanged back slaps with most of the team before walking around to South and West with them.

Of all the Hull players he gave the most to the crowd after the match and seemed incredibly pleased to be here. He made mistakes last night but my overriding impression of him last night was effort in the last 20 minutes to try and score one over against the Pies.

Hope it continues :)

You saw something I didn't then!!! I was in South and he got to us far quicker than the rest of the lads and didn't hang around for them while they were in my eyesight.

Ah. I'm in middle of East and there was definitely lots of comraderie with the rest of the team when he met them walking up. I thought he was limping too so maybe he did head back to the tunnel after that.

Either way, he seemed happy to play to the East stand and was grinning like a loon

Calderwood was as appreciative as the rest of the players at the end of the game, although I never understand why this is always an issue given that most fans head for the exit before the players come over.

You do know where Briscoe is from don't you as he isn't local unless you are from West Yorkshire
