Im far from worried or panicing in all sense. Its not the end of the world if we dont win trophies next season, whats important is the powers that be build for a successful period and not season. It was always going to be a tough job and in some cases rebuilds can get worse before they get better.
When you look at the most successful teams or rebuilds they start with a blank canvass of a good core of youth players then slowly get quality added into them. Its the only way in a salary cap sport. You look at Salford with the doctors money and qithout it you just cant buy your way to the top. It has to be done right. When TS took over KR he signed plenty of young players with some experience and its only now they are in a position to add genuine top quality players into there squad.
Given it will be IMGs grading next season it would be silly to just panic buy players , weve done that far too many times. Id fully support a season bringing youth into the fold with some experience and having more cap space for genuine players to be added in 2025.
This will be a slow process but if its done right im sure it wont be long before we are regular top 6 team again as opposed to a bottom one. When you think the club are keen at mentioning youth and the right players coming in, it shows the plan is to build a strong team rather then patch up the cracks.
