Even some of the most gullible aren’t taking the rumour seriously as it’s been going for months.

Seems Appleyard has a little bit of an insecurity issue judging by his article.

Regarding Appleyard’s ‘story’, it’s just another hilarious symptom of little brother syndrome. How this is a story just before their biggest game in years is absolutely brilliant. Our club are so in their head it’s outstanding.
