I think most on our board would have preferred a prop, mind you most teams do, if the Westerman rumours are true.

Unfortunately it's not selling Westerman that people deride AP for. It's the duplicity of coming out with the "over my dead body" tour statements when he knows full well he plans to sell.

I agree.Pearson just doesnt do himself any favours with the fans when he comes out with these statements.
I guess we all know now why Washbrook was signed.

If Westerman on his way good he's lazy and only turns it on 1 game in three Abdul needs to be starting at 13, use the cap space to get a top hooker in to spell Danny why anyone is concerned I don't know if he stays he needs a boot up his arris because he was shocking most of last year

This is exactly right.

The irony is, I think most fans could probably see the thinking behind accepting a fee for Westerman.

But it's Adam's obsession with pass sales - and the cold, calculated PR which comes with protecting them - which are damaging him more than the decisions themselves!

It was hard to not feel some sympathy for Motu Tony last week. I wouldn't have wanted that Hull Daily Mail interview to carry my name.

Just days later a deal was done. Are fans honestly meant to think these deals just happen?
