The problem in our game is lack of money from top to bottom.
In my opinion we have enough potential young players in this country to match the NRL but there is just not enough money in the game to entice and develop young players into Rugby League.
Until that happens the gap between S/L and the NRL will get larger
The game here needs Superstars with a high profile that kids can relate to and follow.
More terrestrial TV coverage at prime times to counter dwindling SKY revenue and get rid of the think tank IMG as its a total waste of money. Any media agency that takes away promotion and relegation to be replace by stats is deluded as it offers nothing to the game or any club outside of the S/L
Would help a lot if the Aussie dollar collapses and pound gets stronger
