oooh Gravy wants a change now, I'm saying we can't afford it, plain and simple.
And who's to say any coach would want to come under the current circumstances? Watson has a 3 year contract and would be daft to move on.
People on here seem to think that if we want him we'll get him. Same with players. If only it were that simple.

This is a nail on the head moment. Exactly, and why would Ian Watson, Daryl Powell etc want to come ? It’s a big enough job to take on before you start ridding the team / club of the ingrained attitude issues. I think the players fall into the trap that some fans do, ‘we’re Hull FC, we get what we want when we want’. Someone earlier mentioned Fonou’s hair, I personally think it’s an ego thing, ‘look at me, they paid big bucks for me, I’m special’ Another example I’m not comfortable with is, and this is going to be controversial, Ellis saying “I thought we’d be the team to put fifty plus points on a team” ... why ? I think team, fans, coaches, whoever need a reality check and bringing back down to Earth. This whole attitude of ‘it’s alright to be late, turning up for meetings late etc’ that Last alluded to also makes me think there’s a big ego attitude that needs stamping out - I’m assuming Shauls bleached hair is some sort of fine ? So he broke the rules already and basically stuck two fingers up to Last and his new regime
Pre the announcement that half the team have got COVID earlier this evening, they would beat Cas handsomely and that would paper over the cracks until the next big defeat. And this whole Covid announcement, has someone blatantly broken rules (another ‘I’m invincible and can do what I like’ example) ? Out drinking in a COVID hot spot after the match ?
This ramifications of this announcement could have an impact of the reputation of the club. What’s the answer ? Who knows
