On Clifford - he was invisible for the first ten games - yes hes got better since but hes nothing special imo - good in SL - wont make it in the NRL - If he wants to go home to be back up when he's only been here less than a year then im thoroughly not impressed with him as a person.
As for the clubs announcement - it says nothing - doesnt actually say players are signed so were in no different a place to where we were before the announcement - i base this on the fact that every club in sport announces a player as soon as hes signed - no club goes cloak and dagger about it as what is the point in that?
