Hooker is essential, I'd sign one, use Balmforth off the bench (or we may aswll release him).

Would mind Houghton staying on a cheap deal to cover injuries, but Balmforth should be given a chance, which I'm not sure would happen if Houghton stayed.

Completely disagree with the Cam Scott comment, i genuinely think hes a class centre! Hes still young and has all the attributes needed, i really like him!

Just about everyone agrees with you, only seen one person say Scott isn't good enough this season....

Always thought there was a good player, starting to find form and then picked up an injury.

Seems that way lol, I like him so fingers crossed he gets regular game time next season as a starting centre! I like Carlos (i used to live next door to him so have a soft spot for him lol) but injuries are too often so manage his game time and you have an experienced top-level player who can cover about 4 or 5 positions sat on the bench? Common sense comes to mind!

Big risk, only a one year deal and seen as a back up, going for the right reasons at least.

Still disappointed by it.

Really surprised he’s turned down a big money, multi-year deal to be big fish at our club for a back up option 1 year deal over there. NRL is cut throat and they won’t keep him if he doesn’t impress. Got to say it’s either ambitious or a bit stupid on his part, unless we were merely a 1 year stop gap for him all along?

Think he wants another crack at his first and obviously feels he good enough to challenge for a starting spot.

Think the family thing is the biggest thing though.

It's a risk, but based on his form thos season, he would easily get a big SL contract in 2025 if things don't work out for him.
