Even more reason that it's odd that you feel 'spent' at a midtable side in what's clearly a transistional season, if you been through relagation and near liquidation.

I feel the last 4/5 yrs have been transitional tbf, I love my club but I am fed up right now with all the speculation, poor run of form etc... Even the most loyal fans get fed up however I can assure you I will still be attending for the next 35 yrs if I live that long.
Let's face it AP and Gentle and McRae knew what needed to be done. One of the main reasons we needed McRae was to act as PR but regardless of what's happening in the dressing room or on the field we're all left in the usual state of anxiety due to over expectaton , poor performance , controversy , loose canon players ( and their wives ) , more injuries than seem fair , high penalty counts , poor discipline , apparent unrest , lack of concentration etc etc. Now whether these things are real or perceived surely it was McRae's job , and that of his team and Pearson to some degree , to manage them? I expected upheaval and wanted change but there is a danger at the moment that doing the very thing that was/is necessary is actually turning fans off. I think we need a statement from Adam to reassure everyone that the stuff we're seeing is part of a plan or at least expected fallout and that we're still on track or will not let the distractions affect the plan and will get back on track. Simply for a rookie management team to say trust us whilst these thimngs are happening is asking too much in my view and needs at least some sort of response justr to keep some interest in our remaining games this year .
Excellent post. The most pleasing aspect of our start to the season for me was the fact that the team were playing better than I'd expect, whilst now they're worse. Maybe it's the pain we need to go through but there is far too much negativity coming out with only soundbites to try and counter it
Strange game today as wire was there for taking but indicipline and some bizarre calls by Thaler cost us and the Westerman "no" try...looked a try to me.seems to be a lot of trouble in camp as Turner and Westerman was arguing like mad when Tickle kicked the pen and Westerman also had a go at him when wire scored..as did Crooks.
The biggest reason for people's despondent outlook is that when Pearson took over he said that 7th/8th was simply not where the club would be. A year on,and following a very good, promising and engaging start, it's exactly where we still are. Are there many factors involved? Of course. But league position is the bottom line after another first round cup exit and we're no better off so far in this respect. I think we're showing some positive signs and are putting things in place, clearly, but how you feel today is a lot about the here and now. The here and now is poorly managed messages about players leaving, 2 wins from 9, the loss of our best player(s) and staring down the barrel of four more consecutive defeats. For me, in the long term, this is just another year of "jam tomorrow" and it does seem more believable that we will progress. Not everyone has endless patience though. The club also need to stem the damaging haemorrhaging of PR by being clear on who's out, explaining the rationale and drawing a line under it. It's unacceptable to hear about O'Carroll via Twitter.
I wish I was fickle, that way I could pick and choose the team I support, Unfortunately the Grade A club I support are rubbish, apart form the Challenge Cup win and the Premiership in 91 I wasn't alive during the glory years, so definitely not fickle, just frustrated, particularly when your coach sees the positive in losing 40-18 against a a small town in Lancashire.

Cmon mate, youve been a member long enough on here not to get drawn in by fickle fans like her

How the hell can you blame the club for that....he will have done it on his mobile the minute he walked out the ground...how can the club be blamed for that.
I love Jamie and have done since he was 10 years old.

Hi Andy
The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

Where they questioning Turners defence?
It's a poop state of affairs when a 18 year old with 8 games under his belt is telling you how to defend.
