The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

He'd be 3rd choice SH/SO and 3rd choice hooker (assuming we sign horne, if not, he isn't good enough to be 1st choice in the halfs for me)

He may go into next year 2nd choice 6, 2nd choice 7 and 3rd choice 9.

What are the chances of Houghton, Heremaia, Horne and Seymour been fit every week?

Just when i think I have worked out the quota, I read something that confuses me.

I really hope that Hull have thought about this and haven't gone the way Rovers did.

If we don't have a place for Moa, it will be a disgraceful decision.

If we don't we need to be letting Obst go.

Of course we've got space for Moa, Obst doesn't count on the non fed list.

Obst and Moa/Lauaki would 'share' a full overseas spot.

Obst is exempt, he is not on the quota, Hulls current quota players are Phelps, Fitz, Lauaki, Moa & O`Meley, with Moa and O`Meley hopefully staying plus Seymour,Heremaia & Mckinnon our quota will be full for next season.

Ok I will give it a try, each club can only have 5 non def trained overseas players.

Unless you can get exemption if you were here and signed before 2008.

Also to get exempt from the you have to be a Koplak or have an EU passport, does Obst have any of these? So this season our 5 non fed players are

O Meley
Lauaki
Phelps
Fitzgibbon
Moa

So Obst cannot count, but not sure how?

Next season it looks like we will have

Mckinnon
Seymour
Moa
O Meley
Heremaia

Manu doesn't count as he has a Togan passport and signed pre 2008, Obst must have an EU passport?

Hard work this quota lark.

Quota

Seymour
McKinnon
O'meley
Heremaia
Obst

Non fed

Seymour
McKinnon
O'meley
Heremaia
Moa/Lauaki

Obst is off non fed because he was signed for a sl club pre 2008.

Moa and lauaki are off quota because they have a kolpack passport.

Manu's off both.

This is correct so provided we can agree terms with Moa he can stay and so can Obst.

The thing for me is if Horne gets injured then Nicklas should be the back up or Turner. If Seymour gets injured then Ellis should be the back up. Houghton and Heremaia is enough cover at hooker with Newton as an additional back up.

I just don't see the need for Obst, waste of money and he will want first team rugby at his age.

Obst might even ask to leave. Even if you discount the younger players Obst is still reliant on injuries to even make the 17.

Plus why sign Ellis and not have him back up to Seymour? Pointless him playing u20's.

That make sense.

Think one you have exemption you dont count on either, so Obst won't count on either, not that it seems to matter anymore as looking at the SL website, if seems that all they care about now is the non Fed trained area, quota doesn't meaning anything anymore.

Obst must have a EU passport though to claim exemption.

This is where Rovers came a cropper during the mason fiasco, they thought they could get Galea exemption from the quota because although he was here pre 2008, they could get him a EU passport like they thought they would.
