On paper looks a fantastic appointment, but I'd like to know more details from the club, think we all know it's not full time and in a consultancy capacity. Will he be here for pre season training as this is key fir me particularly this year, hopefully ve here at least in person in the middle of the year too.

This is another example of the club being disingenuous with the fans, not mentioning its very part time and mostly remote. Myler has already started taking pages out of Pearson's playbook.
Why can't they just be honest with us ? Its still a positive but they are just setting more massive expectations from what is a part time, remote appointment.

Reading all the different articles etc on the news of Clarke being brought in to consult, in true Hull FC style its all very ambiguous and open to question/interpretation as usual. You'd have thought with the membership packs now released they'd start to be a bit more open & informative but no.
On the face of it having someone like Clarke being involved is a positive and it does seem as though it will be in both a hands on and remote role throughout the year. I would suspect he will be here in Hull possibly prior to and the start of preseason to get a look at everything and set out/fine tune the plan and instruct the staff. Then I'd imagine he'll go back to Manly and keep a check and advise remotely and tweak things as the year progresses, with the odd visit back over to Hull along the way. Then again it could all be totally different.
Its still positive having Clarke involved but somehow the club through poor communication etc have managed to mess up what should have been a real feel good and positive announcement.
