I'm starting to wonder if Myler is deliberately keeping communications from the club to a minimum so that when it's taken over it'll almost be a like a new dawn for the club where a total reset will occur in all aspects of the way the club operates which will clearly show the difference between the old and new regimes - or that's what I'm hoping. I say that because there is no way the club could be so appalling on the field, off the field and in every other way imaginable
I think the lack of communication is just because they obviously can’t discuss anything about the investment until it’s finalised. Like I said on the shopping list thread, I don’t think it will be a total reset because I don’t think it will be a takeover I doubt we’ll have a complete new ownership. In the interviews he’s made I don’t get the impression AP is going.
A ‘capital injection’ is how AP described it, in exchange for what I have no idea. A few years ago I’d have been skeptical of something like that, but it really is do or die for the club now we need something even it is a roll of the dice. As others have said, well performing clubs can’t balance the books in this climate, we have no chance unless something changes.
